Readybrake Customer Testimonials

"I have just purchased a towbar from NSA. During installation I ran into two different issues. One was an issue on matching the equipment to my existing plates, and the other an issue of the indicator switch on the towbar being shorted. On both occasions my calls were handeled politely, professionally, and without hesitation.

Thanks to the professional manner and attitude of Brad, Todd, and Raymond my problems were solved in time for a trip to Georgia and North Carolina with my grandchildren next week. I will recommend your company and product to anyone who is interested in a towbar."

Thanks, Randy Speakman

"I want to tell you how pleased I am with my ReadyBrute Tow Bar. We just got home from our annual Florida trip, and the towing system worked perfectly. We have a 1986 Airstream 345 motorhome and tow a 1976 Porsche 912E. On flat land or in the mountains, the system works great. I can easily adjust how much brake the car provides for any condition."

"I had a ReadyBrake Braking System installed by R.V. Specialist in Augusta, Kansas before we made a big trip through several states and Canada. I would highly recommend the ReadyBrake System to anyone wanting a braking system for their towed vehicle."

Gary Hawk"I travel around 20,000 miles per year to art shows around the county. I own a motor home and tow a 1995 Dodge Caravan. I make my living as an artist, but like most RV'ers, I like to tinker with products for my RV.

In 1998, I purchased and Auto Stop from Blue Ox. My initial impression was that it had a lot of moving parts: cables, pulleys, etc. I installed the unit my self and it seemed to work well.

After towing my van about 10 months, I saw a ReadyBrake made right down the street from me. The ReadyBrake engineer's have designed a unit that is simple, costs less to produce thus has a lower purchase price than the Auto Stop. I always say "K.I.S.S" (Keep it simple sweety!)

In 1999 I purchase a ReadyBrake and sold my Auto Stop, which by then had worn the cables severely and needed replaced. I installed the ReadyBrake and have had no problems with the unit. It stops better and has a shock absorber built into the unit for smoother braking. I have used the ReadyBrake for two years, (40,000 towing miles) with no problems.

I recommend that anyone who runs a ReadyBrake (or any auxiliary braking system) purchase a Dash Light Indicator from Night Shift Auto. This will enable you to know when your brakes on the towed vehicle are on or off. When I was in Arizona, I went from Tucson to Globe. The roads in between have some pretty steep hills, probably about 8% grade and the ReadyBrake worked great!

I have only good things to say about this product. Lucky for me it's made in my home town, Iola, Kansas. USA, of course!

" I installed the brake system myself. It was fairly easy no problems. Anybody with a little experience working on autos can put it on. It works great. Easy to hook up. Thank you for a good product.

Only problem I had was when I hooked it up I didn't lock my tow bar out. The cable stayed real tight. Also I put a block with a counter bar for a positive stop on the end of the cable when I took the tow bar off and let the cable hang free, it got caught kept the brake on. No problem now after I locked the tow bar out and adjusted the cable. It is perfect. I like the looks of this better than the auto shop. On this you can always change the cable.

" Just wanted you to know that your product is easy to install, and finely engineered, and works well.
